“Superfoods” in liquid form have become quite popular in the raw food world, and for a good reason. You get a substantial amount of high energy foods, packed with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, all broken down to a smooth consistency for easy and optimal absorption. And of course, these come along with extreme health benefits! Get ready to become a true warrior!
1 scoop of natural vegan protein powder (brown rice protein, hemp protein, split pea, etc – my favorite brands are Sunwarrior and Vega Sport)
½ cup fruit of choice (blueberries, strawberries, papaya, banana, pineapple, mango, etc)
1/3 cup natural nut milk (almond, hemp or coconut milk)
1 tablespoon of desired fibre (chia seeds or flaxseeds)
raw honey to sweeten (optional)
pure coconut water (or purified water)
ice as needed
Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
Give these superfoods a shot…
Even though all of the following superfoods have amazing health properties, I don’t suggest you add them ALL in at once. If you do you’ll have quite a concoction of strange tastes! (with extreme warrior superpowers)
1 tablespoon of virgin coconut oil or coconut manna (may solidify in chunks if cold)
1 teaspoon of green powder (“green formula” or chlorella, spirulina, wheat grass, barley grass, etc)
handful of fresh leafy greens (spinach, kale, romaine lettuce, spring greens, etc)
1-2 tablespoons of other raw superfoods (cacao, honey, maca powder, hemp seeds, acai powder, goji berries, hempseeds, noni juice, aloe vera juice, wild mushrooms, camu camu, etc.
1-2 tablespoons natural almond butter (or other nut butter)
