Initial Sports Nutrition Assessment
This is for all categories of athletes, the active individual, recreational, competitive or elite athletes. The purpose of the Initial Sports Nutrition Assessment is to evaluate and record intake of your needs as an athlete, and to provide sound nutrition information and guidance in order to improve nutrition quality, increase nutrition knowledge, and improve athletic performance. Sports Nutrition Training Plan
A personalized Sports Nutrition Training Plan ensures adequate intake of essential nutrients to enhance training, maximize performance and assist in the prevention of chronic disease. This plan will be designed to focus on nutrition topics most pertinent to your needs, including a sport-specific diet and supplements tailored to various phases of the training cycle. It will help determine your macro and micro nutrient needs as an athlete, as well as specific supplement dosages. Initial Assessment included in price.
Team Nutritional Assessment
The Team Nutritional Assessment service is for members of an athletic team. It can help identify athletes at risk for chronic disease, injury or poor performance due to dietary and lifestyle habits. Each team member is asked to complete an assessment form, and then return it to Beyond Vitality. We will then provide a short report on each individual’s nutritional needs as an athlete and will relate to the sport involved in. All information collected is confidential, and team members are given the option to follow up with individual nutritional guidance.
With many years of experience as a competitive athlete and Certified Fitness Consultant, Sara, owner and founder of Beyond Vitality, understands the specific needs of an athlete. She is available to give seminars, workshops and presentations to athletic teams, coaches and parents on sports-nutrition topics including but not limited to Training Nutrition, Recovery Nutrition, Competition Day Nutrition, Importance of Carbohydrates in Performance, Fluid Replacement, Protein Needs, Eating on the Road, Pre- and Post-Competition Eating, Importance of Rest, Safe and Effective Weight Loss/Gain!
