Salted Cashew-Banana Mocha Shake

This shake will always hold a special place in my heart, and my palate! This was the closest thing to “dessert” I could consume when I was on a liquid diet for almost four weeks after I had oral surgery. I wanted a nourishing snack, that would provide me with the healing benefits of speeding up my recovery, but also something that would be a little treat after all the liquid meals and soups. With just enough sweetness and salty touch, it really hit the spot. I ended up having to make it X4 every time because my husband and children loved it so much!
Recipe:
1 frozen banana
1 Tbsp. coconut butter (or thick coconut cream/milk)
1 Tsp. medicinal mushroom blend
A handful of raw cashews (about 10-12)
1/4 Tsp. Ceylon cinnamon
Pinch of Himalayan salt
Real maple syrup, to taste (optional sweetener)
Water and/or ice, as needed
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
