Healthy, Hearty Dark Chocolate-Maple Trail Mix

Portable, clean, high-energy snack are a great treat! You can take them with you and munch away when you're in a rush. Take this trail mix on your next adventure, whether it is on a hike or as a post-workout snack. Add a fresh apple to a handful of trail mix and you have a complete clean snack.

Ingredients:

Select 8-10 of the following ingredients. Include variety! You will need about ¼ cup of each ingredient you choose.

Note: Remember to purchase unsalted, raw nuts. Ensure all dried fruit are sugar and sulfur-free.

Raw Sunflower seeds

Raw Pumpkin Seeds

Dried cranberries

Raw Pumpkin Seeds

Dried apricots

Raisins

Dried pineapple

Goji Berries

Dried cherries

Homemade Superfood Granola (or any other healthy granola)

Homemade Maple Glazed Nuts (or any other healthy coated nuts)

Raw Almonds

Raw Brazil Nuts

Raw Cashews

Mini, dark chocolate chips

Mini Spelt Pretzels (omit for a gluten free trail mix)

 

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine ¼ cup each of your chosen ingredients. Toss until all ingredients are mixed. Enjoy!
