Raw Chocolate-Banana Ice Cream with Hempseeds

Love chocolate? Love ice cream? What if there was an alternative? What if you could eat chocolate ice cream that tastes amazing and that was actually good for you? Well now you can! This simple recipe is the perfect solution. It definitely hits the spot! This velvety chocolate-banana ice cream is made with whole natural ingredients and is completely dairy-free! The best part is that you don’t even need an ice cream maker. VOILA!
Ingredients:
2 large ripe bananas, frozen
¼ cup coconut milk (or almond milk)
1 tbsp. raw cacao powder
1 tsp. pure maple syrup (optional)
1-2 tsps raw hempseeds to sprinkle on top (or other seed or nut of choice)
Optional: For a thicker consistency, add 1 tbs. of virgin coconut oil or coconut manna.
Equipment: Food Processor

 or Vita-Mix (heavy duty blender)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except hempseeds in your food processor and pulse until your mixture reaches a smooth, ice cream consistency. Scoop out into small ice cream dishes (makes two servings) and sprinkle with hempseeds. Serve immediately or keep stored in the freezer until serving time. You can also double or triple this recipe to make yourself a large container of ice cream that is ready to serve when you need it.
