Have you been wondering if there is an easy and fun way to go green? My favorite is going to markets, and the perfect time of the year to do so is NOW!

Beyond Vitality will be at UpMarket on October 1st! This is a market that takes place right here in Trinidad! Woo hoo! See the flyer below for more information. We are looking at having fresh organic, non-GMO sprouts, homemade superfood granola, almond butter and hummus, all created with time and love. Take our delicious and nutritious products home, or come for some health tips and advice! For the details about the sprouts we will have, please see my sprout page.

At markets, you can get the freshest produce and goods, because it was probably grown or made right in your neighborhood! It is also so much more than produce, you can find homemade goods, fresh butters, health and beauty products and there are always great craft booths with handmade items as well as local art and performers. Markets also allow you to meet the people that are growing or making your food. If you have questions, who better to ask than a real live farmer or baker, or in my case, nutritionist? The market will be filled with friendly, conscious and like-minded healthy individuals. Make sure to stop and say hello! :)

Markets are a great green idea because it means that you are not paying a company to ship something all the way across the world and you are keeping your dollars local! Go T&T!!!
